Who will actually be photographing my wedding?
Barring an emergency situation, Angela will always be the primary photographer for your wedding day. An assistant photographer will also be there to help capture all of the special moments of your day.

Do you shoot film or digital?
We have been using all digital equipment since 2005. Shooting digital allows us to save you money and it helps us get your proof images to you sooner.

How many other events will you photograph on my wedding day?
Our top priority on your wedding day is you. In an effort to provide excellent customer service to each client, our photographers will never book more than one wedding per day. Ever. We will also never schedule any other sessions or appointments (personal or professional) on your wedding day–even if you only booked us for two hours. It has been our experience that the wedding day schedule never quite goes as planned and we often stay longer than originally planned; we’re okay with that so never be afraid to ask us to stay longer.

How many photos will you take?
The number of images taken will vary based on the details of your wedding so we are unable to guarantee a certain number of images. On average, our wedding galleries include 300-600 images—-in other words, PLENTY! Several more than that will be taken, of course, but we will spend several days following your wedding sorting through all of the images and hand-picking the images that best tell the story of your day. We will toss the test shots, duplicate images and any photo that is particularly unflattering. =)

When will we get to see our proofs?
While you are being whisked away on your honeymoon, we are busily putting together your online gallery and album draft. Usually, by the time you return home, we’ll have your album draft ready and some of our favorite images on our blog. The online gallery of all of the best images from the day usually takes a few days longer since there are so many that need to be processed and uploaded. Everything is guaranteed to be available no later than 3 weeks after your wedding — but often you will see it all sooner.

Do you carry back-up equipment?
Of course! Each photographer has 1-2 cameras and backup cameras/lenses. Should one of our cameras ever go down in the middle of a wedding, we’ll be able to carry on as if it never happened.

Can we have the high-resolution digital images?
Absolutely! Digital images are available at a discount when you purchase them when you book.

Do we get to choose the images that will go in our album?
You get complete control over the images in your album. We will send you a pre-design of your album with the images that we think best tell the story of your day. This is just to help you get started and you may request as many changes to the album draft as you want.

If our photographs need retouching, is there an extra charge?
We want you to look at these photos and show them off to friends and family every chance you get! Any image ordered as a print, canvas or selected to go in an album will be retouched prior to printing. Absolutely free!

Is a retainer required to book your services? When is the balance due?
A $1000 retainer and signed contract is required to book your wedding day. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to your wedding date.

We’re on a budget but we really want to book you for our wedding. What can we do?
First of all, consider a payment plan. Pay your retainer and then make smaller payments until you get the balance paid off. Second, consider getting married in the off-season or on a weekday, Friday or Sunday. Most vendors–including us–offer discounts for weddings booked on days other than Saturdays. Lastly, consider adding us to your bridal registry. In lieu of more kitchenware that you’ll not likely use, friends & family can contribute towards your wedding photography fund. If you’re still having trouble after that, email us and we’ll work with you to figure out a package that will tell your story without breaking the bank!
