We started Rachel’s session at her home (where they still had their childhood clubhouse) and then headed to downtown Newburgh to finish up. It sprinkled on us a bit but Rachel was a trooper and we had a lot of laughs.

Angela is partnering with Inspiration Through Art

I am so excited to announce that I have partnered with Inspiration Through Art (formerly The Littlest Heroes Project), a non-profit organization that gifts free portrait sessions to families who have a child suffering from a serious illness or life altering disability. I am honored to be a part of this amazing network of professional photographers, artists, children, and other volunteers that provide free programs and services to our nations youngest heroes.

I understand that each situation is different so sessions are completely customized around the needs of the family and child. Your complimentary ITA session will last 1-2 hours, and can be done anywhere in the Indianapolis area, including the comfort & privacy of your home or even the hospital. Included with the session is an archival disc with 20-30 images, plus a special gift.

If you or someone you know qualifies for a ITA session, please visit Inspiration Through Art to fill out an application. Once you submit your application, you can then contact me and we will begin the process of scheduling and preparing for your session. I look forward to meeting your HERO!

Ana: Senior Model

This is Ana. One part rock star, two parts awesome. Ana is going to be representing us in Noblesville this year so I met her (and her sister, Allie) on the Square for a session. It was wicked windy and a bit chilly (especially by the end of our session) but Ana was such a good sport about it all–and we kept reminding each other, between chattering teeth, that at least it wasn’t raining. =)

Are you kidding me with this gorgeousness!?! My favorite.It was so cold in this field! The sun was setting, the wind was blowing and, from a few feet away, I could hear poor Miss Ana’s teeth chattering between shots.

I ♥ this family! Those of you who hang around here should have no trouble recognizing these awesome people–they’re here a lot! Emmett celebrated his 1st birthday recently (I can’t believe it’s been a year already) so I joined him and his family for some photo fun.

By mom’s special request, we even did a “beach” photo of Emmett–even though there wasn’t a usable beach in site (it’s not open yet). Check out their slideshow for that photo and more!

The L Family

I can’t believe Leo is 4 months old already! He looks so much different than when I last saw him. I joined him and his family in their Tell City home for some photos to show how much he’s grown. Cousin Ashton joined us, too! Despite the fact that it was sprinkling through our entire session (it actually started when I was in the car on the way there), everyone was in pretty good spirits.

I met Caitlyn & Logan in Zionsville for an engagement session. These two are so sweet together! It was a fairly hot day–especially for March–but they were real troopers.

Aidan {Year 6}

Aidan joined me for a session at Riley Memorial Park in Greenfield. This little man is totally awesome, by the way. He did his best to fill me in on all of the greatest superheroes (at least those in the DC universe). =)

A huge shout out to Aidan’s mom, Crystal, too. Thank you for trusting me enough to just stand on the sidelines and let me chat with Aidan and worry about getting those images.

I know, for a lot of parents, giving up that control can be tough but it really does give me the chance to get to know your kiddo and get those genuine expressions (notice I said “expressions” and not “smiles”; I aim to get lots of smiles but that’s not the only expression your child has so it’s not the only one I want to capture). Plus, you deserve the break. =)

I met this awesome family at Craig Park in Greenwood for some photos. The kiddos started out a bit shy but they opened up and had some laughs with me by the end of the session. Simply adorable & so sweet with one another!
