Elise got a butterfly cupcake for her birthday!
She was a little unsure of it at first so she decided to share with Daddy (and Mommy…and Grandma…and anyone else who got close enough…HA!). =)
Then it was time to open presents–which there were a ton of! Elise loves ducks and, apparently, everyone got that memo! HA! She also got a musical card which was a big hit!
Then we headed to the family church to take some photos of the birthday girl and her new baby cousin, Ashton.
Calli got her cake and wasn’t entirely sure what to do with it. So she tried to share…
Then she got her first bite….
… and there were no attempts to share after that! =)
After a quick bath, she was out of her birthday suit and back in her birthday dress ready to open presents!
She quickly got sidetracked by that task and climbed in Grandpa’s lap to inspect her musical card!
I met this family on Sunday for a session in City Hall Park. It rained on us for a few minutes but then the skies cleared up again and we continued. Marisa recently celebrated her first birthday and Ayden will be turning 4 later this month. Such an adorable family!
Marisa has such an expressive happy face! Adorable!
I met Elise and her family on Thursday afternoon in Cannelton. This is my 3rd time photographing this adorable little girl, too! I took photos of her when she was just 6 days old and again when she was 6 months old. I LOVE this job! =)
Elise is just too cool!
Before the shoot, Elise and I played a game where she would tilt her head sideways and I would follow suit. She found it to be so much fun and did it so often that I actually started getting dizzy! LOL Here she is trying to play it during our shoot, too. =)
Another fun shoot in City Hall Park on Monday morning! This is actually my third shoot with this beautiful little girl. I took some photos of her when she was just 9 days old and again at 6 months. She’s 10 months old now and I was so excited when Miranda contacted me a few weeks ago to discuss doing another session. One of the best things about this job is getting to watch my clients grow up! Callista got hungry early into our shoot so we decided to break for the day and try again on Friday evening.
We took a quick break to try to appease her with a small snack and then tried to continue the session. Calli was not afraid to let me know how she felt about that! =)
We brought out her personalized piggy bank and she cheered up for a little bit!
I met this adorable family at City Hall Park in Tell City on Sunday morning. Miley was feeling very serious but we still had a lot of fun. Such a cute baby! More images are available in their online gallery.
Miley got a little less than thrilled about having her photo taken so we took a break for a snack.
After Calli’s session and a quick bite to eat, I joined Elise and family in their Tell City home for some more portraits. Despite not taking her nap, yet, Miss Elise was all smiles! She was so much fun to shoot. Apparently, I was about the funniest thing she’d ever seen! =)
Then she discovered my camera and tried to eat it. Either that, or she has already mastered the camera-at-arms-length-self-portrait…=P
Today I met with Callista & family to do some portraits. We all gathered this morning in their Tell City home and had some fun! At 6 months, Callista was content to ignore me most of the day but I caught her looking at me every now and then! Adorable!
After photographing Elise and family on Sunday, I headed to Adam and Miranda’s Tell City home to capture some moments with their newborn daughter, Callista. More photos are available in her online gallery.
On Sunday, August 16, 2009, I was welcomed into Josh & Sara’s Tell City home to celebrate the recent birth of their daughter, Elise. More photos are available in her online gallery.
