We started Rachel’s session at her home (where they still had their childhood clubhouse) and then headed to downtown Newburgh to finish up. It sprinkled on us a bit but Rachel was a trooper and we had a lot of laughs.

I am so excited to announce that I have partnered with Inspiration Through Art (formerly The Littlest Heroes Project), a non-profit organization that gifts free portrait sessions to families who have a child suffering from a serious illness or life altering disability. I am honored to be a part of this amazing network of professional photographers, artists, children, and other volunteers that provide free programs and services to our nations youngest heroes.
I understand that each situation is different so sessions are completely customized around the needs of the family and child. Your complimentary ITA session will last 1-2 hours, and can be done anywhere in the Indianapolis area, including the comfort & privacy of your home or even the hospital. Included with the session is an archival disc with 20-30 images, plus a special gift.
If you or someone you know qualifies for a ITA session, please visit Inspiration Through Art to fill out an application. Once you submit your application, you can then contact me and we will begin the process of scheduling and preparing for your session. I look forward to meeting your HERO!

This is Ana. One part rock star, two parts awesome. Ana is going to be representing us in Noblesville this year so I met her (and her sister, Allie) on the Square for a session. It was wicked windy and a bit chilly (especially by the end of our session) but Ana was such a good sport about it all–and we kept reminding each other, between chattering teeth, that at least it wasn’t raining. =)

I ♥ this family! Those of you who hang around here should have no trouble recognizing these awesome people–they’re here a lot! Emmett celebrated his 1st birthday recently (I can’t believe it’s been a year already) so I joined him and his family for some photo fun.
By mom’s special request, we even did a “beach” photo of Emmett–even though there wasn’t a usable beach in site (it’s not open yet). Check out their slideshow for that photo and more!
